Beat That!

This game is great for a group that likes to be wild and wagering! Suitable for both adults and kids, this game will have you taking on silly challenges like bouncing balls and stacking things. The kicker is that you wager on your ability to beat the silly task. It’s great for kids versus adults, men versus women, or any teams you like to form! With over 160 challenges, this is sure to keep you having fun over many game nights. There’s also almost 20,000 great reviews on Amazon!

Popdarts

If you’re like me, you first saw this game on TikTok! It’s super fun, like an updated, weird and wacky, version of darts. There’s a marker dart and you throw the other darts with suction cups to try and get yours as close to the marker as possible to score the most points! It’s fun and can be played anywhere. So, unlike traditional darts, you don’t have to worry about a board and sharp objects. This is simple and easy to bring from house to house.

Hues and Cues

I love a unique game, and this one is super different! There’s a color board full of 480 colorful squares. The goal is to use only one or two words to get the other players to guess a specific color hue on the board. Gather points accross rounds to be the winner. It’s a fun intellectual challenge and great for friends and family to stretch your word/color association!

What Do You Meme?

This one’s been out for a little while, but still one of my favorites. You challenge your friends and family to come up with the best option for that round’s meme. Everyone has snarky cards and the funniest one wins (voted blind – no one knows who put down what card). It will literally have you laughing for hours. And you’ll find out who is secretly funny in your group. There’s always one that no one expects!

Smash or Pass

If you’ve ever been on social media, chances are you’ve seen a game of smash or pass. This game is for the adults. There are green cards with nice attributes and red cards with pass-worthy traits. Everyone plays a pass card and the funniest one that matches with the smash card wins the round! And you’ll learn what your friends are willing to put up with for a good “smash”!

5 Second Rule (Unsensored)

Ok, we aren’t talking about dropping food on the floor! This game is definitely for the adult crowd, FYI. The goal is to name three items in your category before the time runs out. Believe me, with the time pressure, so seriously funny answers come out of the mouths of people you were sure you knew through and through! It’s hilarious!

Lyrically Correct

I may be dating myself with this game! But if your of a certain generation, this is an awesome throwback. Music fans, 90s R&B fans, and anyone who loves nostalgia will get a kick out of this game. It’s the ultimate trivia for 90s R&B music! There are also a bunch of different versions, like 80s Mixtape and oldies too!

Drawing Without Dignity

This game is Cards Against Humanity meets Pictionary! Get your (adult) friends together for a fun game of ridiculous drawings and silly categories. Draw for your team and rack up the points. This game comes with everything you need to get going. Just open it up and get to playing.

Cards Against Humanity

Speaking of Cards Against Humanity….this is still a crowd pleaser. This game has been around for a while now and there are all kinds of expansion packs on the market to keep the fun going. Just in case you aren’t familiar, there’s a card each round and everyone has response cards. They put face down and the funniest one (as voted by everyone) wins the round!

Anomia

Back to a family friendly option here, Anomia is a fun card game of matching symbols. Once two symbols come up that match, the two with the symbols race to name items in their opponents category first. It’s a game that requires paying attention because you’re flipping cards quickly and a match can happen at any minute!

Blank Slate

This game puts you up against your friends and family. Can you predict what they are thinking? Points go to matching answers. It includes everything you need from the small whiteboards to the cue cards! It’s also good for kids and teens as well. A great game night addition.

Muffin Time

This game is just as random as it’s name! There are trap cards, counter cards, and action cards. Oh my! From topics like farts to Youtube series, there’s something in here about anything and everything. Great for kids and adults, this silly game will get everyone laughing on game night.

The Voting Game

The Voting Game is the ultimate way to find out the truth about your friends. Pull a card like “who’s Google search would you like to see the most?” and then as a group vote on who in your group is the answer to the question. It’s a fun game that challenges perceptions and often leads to some funny stories from your friends.

TableTopics

I love Tabletopics for a dinner party. It’s a must for great conversation starters. These cards have different conversational questions that everyone in the group can answer. It takes a lot of the pressure off of filling silent time during a party or dinner party. It brings up really interesting things to discuss too. There are a ton of different themes available as well!

Whether it’s friends or family, proper entertianment can make a party unforgettable! These picks scratch the surface of game night games available, but they are some of my favorites.
