Grab your friends and get ready for the Christmas party theme you didn’t know you needed: Hunkmas. The year that Magic Mike XXL came out, my mom and sister were obsessed. Every year my sister and I would transform my mom’s living room overnight with some crazy theme. we did spa day, Star Wars, Storybook Xmas…..and this particular year, we did HUNKMAS. (You’ll see some ladies on the tree as well, we did have my husband with us and my sister likes the ladies). But this blog post will walk you through everything you need to throw a Magic Mike inspired Christmas party!

Hunkmas Christmas Party Theme Decor
For this party theme we had to bust out some half naked men. I know. Nothing says Christmas like half naked men. (Hahahaha – well whatever, it’s fun). So, my sister got these giant cardboard cutouts. One looks like a Chippendales dancer type and the other is Jason Mamoa, because that was one of my Mom’s favorites at the time. You can choose whatever cutout you like!
Then we printed out a bunch of photos of my Mom’s favorite guys (Ryan Reynolds, Shemar Moore, Brad Pitt, the usuals). We taped or clipped these pictures to a small Christmas tree and it turned out so cute! (You’ll see ladies on there too for my sister and my husband, so they felt included). We also printed a picture of the Magic Mike guys, the inspiration for this Christmas Party theme. Super easy and affordable decor.
Finally, we found some fun things at Michaels like a sign that said “Don’t get your tinsel in a tangle” and then I made up some little quote quips with saucy sayings that we taped around. It was super fun! Also, I think these disco ball balloons are the perfect dance vibe too!
Hunkmas Christmas Party Theme Drinks
For drinks, we went with the classic mimosas. It was Christmas morning after all! But we had a few options for juices to mix with the champagne. We did get these fun wine glasses and wine glass dancing men glass buddies. These are so fun. They look like little dancing men and it’s a hilarious talking point. You can get some on Amazon.
When you’re picking drinks, I went with mimosas because it was morning, but if your party is in the afternoon or evening, think club drinks! Have fun with themed drinks with naughty names. You can really have fun with it.
Happy Hunkmas Playlist & Activities
Of course any kind of fun sexy music works, funny or serious. I have a couple of playlist ideas for you below. You can screen shot or download with the link below. One is a very Magic Mike inspired playlist and the other is more focused on dance music. Whatever floats your boat!
Some other activities you can do are karaoke and photo props. You can have a karaoke machine going on, or one of those microphone karaoke games. Since you’re combining this hunky theme with Christmas, you can use Christmas photo props! Pick out your favorite ones online or check out some in EventOTB’s Etsy Shop.
